HUNTSVILLE, AL- October 2019 - During the Industry and Advocates Award Ceremony at the NASA Marshall Small Business Alliance (MSBA) meeting on September 19, Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) received the Large Business Prime Contractor Excellence Award for superior performance with Small Business goals, and initiatives to assist, promote and utilize Small Business concerns. The award reflects leadership and achievement in the aerospace and Small Business community. Hundreds of representatives from NASA and their industry partners were in attendance for the event.
TBE was given the award for work performed at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), specifically their efforts on the Mission Operations and Integration contract. Under this contract, the company has completed efforts on over 500 payloads, performing functions such as earth observation, technology demonstrations, material and life sciences research, and communications.

This was the 13th Annual Industry and Advocates Awards ceremony which is sponsored by MSFC’s Office of Procurement and Small Business Office and is intended to acknowledge outstanding performance exemplified on programs performed at the Center.
