April 17, 2018 - The German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Teledyne Brown Engineering are announcing completion of the development of the DESIS (DLR Earth Sensing Imaging System) instrument and its delivery to NASA. This cooperative joint venture is scheduled for launch in the summer of 2018 from Cape Canaveral aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch Vehicle.

Work is planned to begin immediately and could extend through July 2023. This Task Order is for Teledyne Brown Engineering’s Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) that models and evaluates the performance and effectiveness of a broad range of current and future defense systems in a full operational context.

December 6, 2017 - Teledyne Brown Engineering has been awarded a contract from VSE Corporation to supply the Pluto Gigas Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Systems to be deployed by the Egyptian Navy. Pluto Gigas is a counter-mine ROV that uses multiple sonar systems including Teledyne BlueView imaging sonar to identify and dispose of mines in prohibitive conditions.

This 22,000 square foot manufacturing facility will be the 9th building constructed on the company’s main campus.
