Scott Hall is Senior Vice President of the Maritime Systems and Hardware Operations groups at Teledyne Brown Engineering. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s Marine portfolio which includes the full life cycle development and delivery of hardware, vehicles, systems and solutions for maritime applications. His responsibilities also encompass the oversight of all manufacturing programs supporting marine, energy, aviation, space, defense, and commercial space imaging markets. Hall leads the company’s manufacturing operations including facilities, machining, fabrication, and production control.
Hall joined Teledyne Brown Engineering in 2004 as a Program Manager of various Department of Defense programs including the Flexible Engine Diagnostic System (FEDS) program, various missile ground support hardware systems, and military reset programs. He was an integral part in the company’s award for the American Centrifuge Program (ACP) to manufacture gas centrifuge service modules for uranium enrichment, which revitalized the company’s nuclear manufacturing and participation in the energy market. For this effort, Hall served as a Director and set up three offsite, fully equipped manufacturing and storage facilities totaling over 500,000 square feet, in a condensed period of time to meet program requirements. Hall also served as Director of Nuclear Programs for Energy and Environmental Systems with responsibilities focused on the capturing and managing the company’s energy and nuclear related projects. He was then promoted to Vice President of Manufactured Products and shortly thereafter was given the additional role of Senior Vice President of Marine and Aviation.
Hall possesses over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, program management and systems development. Prior to joining Teledyne Brown Engineering, Hall worked for SanTek Engineering in Guntersville, Alabama for 12 years where he began as the Manufacturing Supervisor and was promoted to Vice President, managing all Department of Defense and NASA contracts which comprised 95% of the company’s customer base. His duties included various business functions; management of production, development and implementation of manufacturing process improvements; manufacturing process integration of new products and capabilities, research, investigation, and implementation of design changes to meet specific customer requirements; assistance with ISO:9002 certification and registration; design of special production equipment; and management, programming, and operation of multiple Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) laboratories.
Hall attended Auburn University, where he earned a BS in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the Navy League, National Defense Industrial Association, Army Aviation Association of America, the Association of the U.S. Army, and the World Nuclear Association.
