TBE Culture

Teledyne Brown’s culture is defined by its forward-thinking respect and genuine concern for fellow employees and the community.  We are not just co-workers, we are family.  Many employees gather for breakfast and lunch at the Blue Bat Café, where a variety of delicious meals are prepared every day. The Café is designed to be a gathering place for dining, watching breaking news on the flat-screen televisions, playing ping-pong, or pulling together a couple of the over-stuffed chairs for an impromptu meeting.

Others spend their lunch at the gym attending one of the free exercise classes or following a workout routine with the exercise machines. We train together for the annual walk/run.  We also participate in walks and a variety of fundraising activities for area charities.  We are a community that reaches outside our offices to help others through organizations like the United Way and recruitment programs for wounded soldiers.

When one of our own needs help, we are there. One of our employees fought cancer for 6 years.  When she used up all of her sick leave and vacation, her fellow employees donated their time through our shared leave program.  The employees were so generous that she ended up having more vacation and sick leave at the end than when she started. There are many other similar stories.

We are a group of talented individuals who respect and value each other, and, in turn, Teledyne Brown is a company that values the contributions of its employees. Teledyne Brown offers many benefits and programs to show its appreciation and support to our family-oriented culture. Among them are the following.
