Space Technologies
From the earliest U.S. efforts in both unmanned and manned space efforts, Teledyne Brown Engineering has made significant contributions to the enabling technologies. Today, we provide technical services and products that enable and support existing and next-generation space missions.
- As the Payload Mission Integration Contractor during the 1980s and 1990s, we provided technologies to support 24 scientific missions of the Space Shuttle and 8 missions of the Shuttle / Mir program.
- For the International Space Station, our technology contributions range from the vacuum system in the U.S. Laboratory to Joint Integrated Simulation software used in rehearsing scientific participants.
- We focus on the research, development, and application of emerging space and information technologies to NASA, DoD, and commercial spacecraft and their operational support systems.
We have "been there . . . done that." Teledyne Brown has the expertise and vision to continue with contributions to the space technologies of America's new ventures.
