Readiness Information Management
A critical need of emergency managers is the ready identification of available assets that can be applied in handling a situation. Using capabilities established during our many years of experience with the DoD and NASA, Teledyne Brown Engineering has developed the Total Readiness Information Management System (TRIMS) to meet this need.
- Using common COTS hardware and software as the bases, we have developed TRIMS as a highly reliable, flexible product that is readily customized to your particular needs.
- The system resides on PCs, netted to reflect the required number of operator consoles. Software is developed around the MS Office Suite and includes the messaging capability inherent with this suite. It is modular, so it can be readily upgraded as the technology grows.
- In emergency management operations, TRIMS integrates operational plans, equipment availability, and staff contact data, thus reducing the timeline for proper application of emergency resources and providing a common system for multiple agency jurisdictional responses.
TRIMS is applicable to military and civil agencies emergency management staffs and can satisfy the most demanding informational requirements. It has been successfully used in a training environment at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.
