Clay Moise to Lead Teledyne Brown's Manufacturing Excellence Program

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 12, 2008) — Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) announced today that Benjamin C. “Clay” Moise, II will lead its Manufacturing Excellence program. Moise will be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing processes, enhancing quality and managing strategic direction for Teledyne Brown’s growing manufacturing business. Moise, with over 20 years of manufacturing management experience, joins Teledyne Brown after holding several senior management positions with Textron Marine and Land Systems, Textron Marine and Combat Systems and Bell Aerospace Textron. “Clay is extremely qualified to provide strategic thinking, industry knowledge and guidance that will ensure our competitiveness,” said Rex D. Geveden, president, Teledyne Brown Engineering. “We are fortunate to have someone with Clay’s credentials and experience. He is a valuable addition to our leadership team.” Moise holds a B.S. in Management, B.S. in Marketing and MBA from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. He also attended the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona and Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. Clay is a member of the Navy League of the United States, The National Contract Management Association, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, the National Defense Industrial Association and the Association of the United States Army.
